Seth Meyers tops April comedy show

AUSTIN (Culturemap Austin) - Saturday Night Live's Seth Meyers will be among the headliners when the Moontower Comedy and Oddity Festival comes to Austin in April.

The event, presented by The Paramount, takes place April 25 - 28 at 12 venues around town. It will feature acts from stand up, sketch and improvisational comics. Moontower aims to claim recognition as the best comedy fest in the country — and with their programming, perks and prime location.

In addition to Meyers, the lineup incudes Aziz Ansari of NBC's Parks and Recreation, impressionist Maria Bamford, tongue-in-cheek magician The Amazing Johnathan and former Austinite Brendon Walsh.
