AUSTIN (KXAN) - The University of Texas at Austin has announced that Sarah Brightman will be performing at the Bass Concert Hall on March 1 as apart of her Dreamchaser World Tour.
Brightman has received more than 180 gold and platinum awards in more than 40 countries around the world. She was also the first artist to be invited to perform the official theme song at the Olympic games on two separate occasions, once in 1992 at the Barcelona Olympic games and the second at the opening ceremony in Beijing.
Tickets go on sale Monday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. at authorized ticket outlets, which include the Bass Concert Hall Box Office, most H-E-B stores and all Texas Box Office outlets, online at www.TexasPerformingArts.org , or by calling 512-477-6060 or 800-982-BEVO (2386).
Every ticket purchased is eligible to receive a complimentary copy of Sarah's new album "Dreamchaser" which will be officially released on Jan. 22. There will be an option to either download the CD or to get a physical copy.
