AUSTIN (KXAN) - The two surviving members of the pioneering hip-hop group, Run-D.M.C., will headline the main stage at Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin this year, festival organizers said.
This appearance marks the first time Joseph "Run" Simmons and Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels have performed since 2002, when they went into retirement after the death of DJ and producer Jason "Jam Master Jay" Mizell.

The full line-up for the seventh annual festival was released Thursday.
The 2012 lineup includes:
Festival producers Transmission Events said they are bringing another year of exciting, genre-blurring entertainment ranging from indie rock to hip hop, punk to dance, metal to comedy.
Fun Fun Fun Fest will be held in Austin on Nov. 2 to Nov. 4 at Auditorium Shores.
Weekend three-day passes are now on sale and single day passes, artist lineup by day and time, student discounts and more will be coming in August, festival officials said.
