CARLSBAD, Calif. (CNN/KSWB) - It's officially Christmas at Legoland in California.

The 10th annual lighting of the world's largest Lego Christmas tree happened Monday night.

This year, more than 11,000 LED lights were added to the tree -- which is made out of 245,000 Legos and adorned with 400 Lego ornaments.

Actor Thomas Gibson, who stars on the hit crime drama "Criminal Minds," was on hand for the celebration.
