KEY WEST, Fla. (NBC/VNR) - Need a break from the cold, winter weather?
The aerial video of the Quantam Key West Regatta. Dozens of teams from the U.S. and abroad compete in the international sailing competition off the Florida Keys every year.
Considered one of the prestigious events on the international winter circuit, many of the world's top sailors are competing in this week's event.
According to the National Weather Service, participants were blessed with 70-degree temperatures on Thursday with winds between 15- to 20 mph, which organizers say made conditions almost perfect for sailing.
The Regatta runs through this Friday.
