Nominee: Austin Music Awards for Album of the Year

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Local up-and-coming musician Reed Turner performed live Sunday morning in the KXAN studio.

His EP "Side One: See How Far I Get" was recently nominated by the Austin Music Awards for Album of the Year.

He has also been nominated as musician of the year. Three of his songs are up for song of the year.

Critics describe Turner as "soulful" and "poetic." Here he performs one of his new songs.
