AUSTIN (KXAN) - In the horror psychological thriller "Recut," seven different cameras were used to created a unique visual experience.

It's set in Wisconsin, where a journalist - played by former bachelorette Meredith Phillips - heads to a rural town to investigate some gruesome deaths.

Meanwhile, a film crew follows her to document this experience.

The producer of the movie said they used a variety of cameras to create a unique visual experience.

"We probably used seven different cameras for this film," said Producer Johnny Haug. "We shot on HD, standard def, dashboard, bag cams, lipstick cams."

"Recut" screens at the Alamo Ritz at 11 p.m. Friday and Sunday at the Alamo Lake Creek at 7 p.m.
