AUSTIN (KXAN) - The welcome rain has affected an outdoor event scheduled for Wednesday night, and the show is postponed.
KGSR's "Blues on the Green" evening show was to feature BoDeans and Sahara Smith. Organizers are working on rescheduling the show and will have information regarding a new date soon.
The remaining dates are scheduled to proceed as planned:
93.3 KGSR’s Blues on the Green is in its 22nd season as Austin's largest free concert series. It runs May 30 through Aug. 8 every other Wednesday at Zilker Park.
Patrons can enjoy food and non-alcoholic beverages from local restaurants and stop by the KSGR local charity area for volunteer and donation information.
Blankets, lawn chairs, dogs on leashes, and children are all welcome. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m.

KGSR’s Blues on the Green is presented by Polycom and brought to fans in part by South Texas Ford Dealers, The Shade Project, University Medical Center Brackenridge, Big Bend, Ziegenbock, city of Austin Parks and Recreation Department, and produced by C3 Presents, who also produce such notable events as the Austin City Limits Music Festival and Lollapalooza.
