AUSTIN (KXAN) - Time might be almost up for some of your favorite summer treats.
John Lash with Farm To Table, a company that distributes Central Texas produce to Austin restaurants, said many fruits and vegetables we'd normally see later in the year are available now.
That is thanks to the warmer winter seen across the country.
Lash said farms are in a transition period between spring crops and fall crops.
He said peaches, lavender, summer squash, sweet corn, and watermelons are in their peak this month.
