AUSTIN (KXAN) - Olive & June brings almond cake for this week's Tasty Thursday.
Ingredients
- almond paste 3750g
- eggs 1875g
- butter, softened 945g
- A.P. 225g
- almond flour 150g
- vanilla extract 2TBS
Directions
- Soften butter or beat it up in mixer with paddle and remove
- Put almond paste in mixer with paddle and mix until soft -- no lumps!
- Add eggs slowly and vanilla extract, do not break batter
- Add softened butter and mix until homogenous
- Add all of flours and mix until just incorporated
- Store in piping bags
