Compromise reached in pageant dispute
Both San Antonio entrants will vie for Miss Texas

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Miss San Antonio and the runner-up who had been awarded the title during a court fight will both compete in the Miss Texas pageant.
The list of 38 contestants Monday includes Miss San Antonio Domonique Ramirez and Miss Bexar County Ashley Dixon.
Ramirez went to court after she was stripped of her title, in a dispute over her weight and her public appearances schedule. Dixon in February was named Miss San Antonio. A jury on March 24 restored the crown to Ramirez.
Miss Texas pageant spokeswoman Valerie Bell on Monday told The Associated Press that the San Antonio franchise at any point could assign another title, which organizers did to make Dixon Miss Bexar County.
Miss Texas will be crowned July 1 in Arlington.
