Need a president? There's an app for that!

CHICAGO (CNN) - After months of campaigning it all comes down to this one day.

And whether you're looking to share the excitement of Election Day or an undecided voter looking for last-minute information before you head to the polls, there are smartphone apps to help – with a few suggestions from app review website Appolicious.

On election night, a lot of people will be looking right to Chicago, where President Barack Obama will spend election night to see whether he's re-elected as president of the United States. Others will look to Boston where Mitt Romney has his headquarters.

But if you can't be in either city, don't worry. There's an app for that.  

Into Now is a second-screen application that will allow you to interact with others while you're watching election returns on Tuesday night.

Congress Plus will help you learn about literally every member of the Senate and House of Representatives -- including voting record, financiers, other legislative activity and contact information. That also extends to their Facebook, Twitter and YouTube presence.

And then another is a fun fact-checker-slash-game called Settle It by Politifact, which really diagnoses which candidates and surrogates are telling the truth, sort of the truth or have their pants on fire. 

Every four years not only do we get to choose who's the leader of the free world, but an election is also a great showcase for technological innovation.

In 2008 it was the dawn of social media. In 2012, it was a rise in apps and even more social media tools. What will influence the 2016 presidential race? We'll just have to wait and see.
