AUSTIN (KXAN) - ZACH Theater opens its new Topfer Theatre this weekend September 29 with entrainment all night.

Guests are invited to mingle under the enormous, custom tent covering the plaza and see performances on the brand new stage.

According to the ZACH Theater, the Topfer Theatre will "more than double its current capacity while retaining the intimate experience fans have come to expect, ZACH will expand its stage, seating and services to provide Austin and Central Texas with the regional theater Austin and its artists deserve."

Ragtime will be one of the first shows in the Topfer Theatre. The show will star local actress, Kia Fulton and 50 other Austin actors. A full orchestra will support the large cast, a first in ZACH's long history.

The show will be on stage from October 17 through November 18. Tickets are already on sale online .
