AUSTIN (KXAN) - Don McKinley of Austin's Municipal Court was in the KXAN studio on Saturday to discuss the state-wide warrant round-up currently underway.
Those who have outstanding warrants should go to municipal court now and pay those fines. People also can take care of delinquent citations. If people go now, they will not be arrested. Arrests will start on or after March 2.
"Our focus is to have them comply and not to arrest them," McKinley said. "Although, they face that risk if they choose to ignore it."
