AUSTIN (KXAN) - Author Geyata Ajilvsqi has tips for adding the roadside beauty of wildflowers to your garden.

It's important to pick the right seed mix. Depending on your yard, you may want to plant deer resistant flowers or possibly wildflowers for the shade.

Some mixes offer just bluebonnets to give you the Texas flower in your own backyard.
