SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KXAN) - The next time you visit the historical site in San Antonio, you may notice a few changes.
A private company called "Event Network", is renovating the gift shop to enhance the visitor experience there.
Mark Dallas Loeffler, from the Texas General Land Office, shared what visitors can soon expect with KXAN News Today.
Loeffler hopes the new partnership, "Transforms the gift shop to not just a place where you buy a souvenir."
The Texas General Land Office is also asking to display the 1836 Travis letter in February, stirring up some controversy .
