AUSTIN (KXAN) - Special Olympics Texas is helping people conquer their fear of heights.

October 27 participants will rappel down 17 stories of the Hyatt Regency during "Over the Edge."

Spots are still open to thrill seekers wanting to see Austin from a bird's eye view. Participants can sign up online and will raise 1,000 dollars to support the 44,000 Special Olympics Texas athletes.
