Pets affected by fires in need of items

Take donations to the Metric Boulevard facility

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin Pets Alive! adopted out 94 animals this week, but is still in need of donated items for the cats and dogs affected by fires in the Austin area.

Austin Vet Care asks residents to being items to its facility at 12419 Metric Blvd. and staff will take the items to APA!

Items needed include:

  • food (preferably Castor or Pollux cans)
  • dog bowls
  • gallons of water
  • tick collars
  • flea medication
  • Frontline
  • bandage material - Vetwrap
  • blanets
  • bedding
  • cat litter
  • cash donations
