AUSTIN (KXAN) - Lee Reisig and Kirill Rebkovets were in studio to preview of Cirque Dreams: Holidaze at the Long Center.
Cirque Dreams, a different brand than Circque de Soleil and created by Neal Goldberg, does share some of the characteristics of the well known Cirque de Soleil show. It includes a cast of more than 30 multi-talented performers who do aerials, acrobats and dances.
According to the show's cast, those who attend can expect "two hours of gingerbread men flying through the air, toy soldiers marching on thin wires, snowmen defying the laws of physics, icemen powerfully sculpting, penguins spinning, puppets caroling, and reindeer soaring high above a landscape of holiday wonderment. The Long Center wants everyone to join in the magic of the Holidaze."
Rebkovets, who performed Rolla Bolla in studio at KXAN, is from Russia. Reisig, his sidekick in Rolla Bolla, is from Ohio.
Cirque Dreams: Holidaze has remaining shows at the Long Center today and tomorrow .
