AUSTIN (TEXAS) - The ultimate outdoor lifestyle festival is one way the Naked Foot 5K has been described.

The race will be held Saturday and it's not just running. There will also be a stand-up paddle board race and a obstacle course.

Race director Josue Stephens said running barefoot can help the impact on runner's knees and joints.

But if you're not ready to completely ditch your kicks then you can try zero-drop shoes.

The run will also be accepting donations of gently used shoes for Soles4Souls.

Runners can still register online and discounts are being offered to groups of people who sign up together.
