AUSTIN (KXAN) - Dr. Koushik Shaw of St. David's was in studio on Sunday morning to talk about dipping testosterone levels.

Many have heard that women battle dropping estrogen levels during menopause. Men, too, see their hormone levels drop, except for men it is testosterone.

Even the initial signs are the same: mood swings, depression and a lack of libido. Often the condition goes undiagnosed because the symptoms are similar to othe conditions.

As men are more active into their 60s, many are more interested in seeing their testosterone adjusted.Shaw says three different topical gels can be used to address the drops in hormone levels.
