AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin police are investigating a motorcycle fatality after one man died Sunday morning.
Police say a 49-year-old man was driving northbound on IH-35 just north of Parmer Lane when his motorcycle drifted to the side of the road.
The unidentified man crashed into the guardrail on IH-35. He was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center where he was pronounced dead around 9:40 a.m.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident which remains under investigation.
Traffic northbound had been diverted to one lane but has since been reopened.
