Make food resolutions for new year

Three tips can improve your health in 2013.

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Nutritionist Carly Pollack was in the KXAN news studio on Sunday morning to discuss eating resolutions for the new year, including a journal for our eating habits.

Pollack boiled down her recommendations to three tips: Drink half your weight in ounces of water every day. Account for your eating each day in a journal or application. And bump up the quantity of fruits and vegetables that you are eating in the new year. You'll feel better for it.

All three tips will make help you manage your weight and feel better in 2013.
