AUSTIN (KXAN) - Haley, a six-month-old lab mix, is KXAN's Pet of the Week.
Edward Flores of Austin Dog Rescue describes Sandy as energetic and friendly. She's only six months old, but has been with Austin Dog Rescue for two months. Flores said Haley is still young and should be adaptable with or without children.
"I love to football tackle my brother and wrestle with him and I am slightly vocal when it is time to play, so if you have a sister or brother for me, I sure hope they like to play," according to Haley's online "biography." "If not, that is fine as well because I love the attention from my foster mom and dad and can entertain myself with my favorite toys. My favorite treat is a Kong stuffed with peanut butter. I may not sun bathe with my brother Harry but after running around playing with my foster sister, I do enjoy a good nap in the house with my foster parents as they relax on the couch. I steal the biggest dog bed in the house. I am also doing very well at my crate and potty training."
