Launch of iPhone 5 means more business

AUSTIN (KXAN) - According to iPhone app developer, P.J. Tanzillo, the launch of the new phone is like Christmas.

Every new generation of the iPhone has so far sold twice as many as the last. Which means app development companies are still seeing big business.

Tanzillo co-founded his own company in 2009, Bearded Pony.

Since he has seen the app market continue to get more competitive as bigger companies have began to develop apps too. Developers are now thinking more about function, design and marketing.

According to Tanzillo,"Our apps are meant to put a smile on your face." The idea of fun apps has led to the company motto, "stupid apps for brilliant people."
