Highland mall is marking the close of Hispanic Heritage Month with a community "Fiesta". The celebrations will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
The festivities begin with a talent show at 4:30 in the food court, there students will have the chance to showcase their talents and win up to $150.
Following the talent show will be live music featuring artists like Mauricio Calleajas and La Frenetika.
“The Hispanic Heritage Fiesta is going to be a high energy celebration of the Hispanic Culture,” says Bianca Xoyamayagua, Highland Mall Marketing manager.
“The talent show is an opportunity to showcase the wonderful talents of our Austin students and the live music brings the extraordinary sounds of the Hispanic culture on stage at Highland Mall.”
