AUSTIN (KXAN) - John Dromgoole of the Weekend Gardener explains how to prune back your native grasses for the spring.

Dromgoole tends to let grasses remain over the winter. They often provide habitat for butterflies and seeds for birds. In this segment, he demonstrates how to tend to your grass once spring arrives.

Dromgoole, of the Natural Gardener , can be heard on KLBJ-AM with his weekend gardening show.
