AUSTIN (KXAN) - KidsActing is offering a Winter Break Camp for children who might think they want to try acting, singing or dancing.

The holiday break is two weeks long. The KidsActing camp is three days, with an emphasis on age-based improvisation, theater arts games and a performance for family. Ages for the camp are 6 to 11.

KidsActing brought in leads from its Robin Hood production to show off some of the play performance camps offered on three stages this month. The next production will be Wizard of Oz. The theater company offers longer classes, from musical productions to screen acting to costume design.

A number of graduates have made it to Broadway, including David Bologna, who was nominated for a 2009 Tony for playing Michael in Billy Elliot. Alumni Barrett Davis and Ellen Marlow have performed on Broadway. Others have starred in episodes of television shows, commercials and movies of the week.
