Easter Seals on target to raise $30,000

400 people partipated in Walk with Me event.

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Sunday, Easter Seals held its annual Walk With Me fundraiser at The Domain.

KXAN News Today anchor, Robert Maxwell, emceed the event and was just one of the almost 400 in attendance. 

As of Nov. 11, the walk had raised $14,835. The organization says, it is now on-target to reach their $30,000 goal. All the money raised stays in Central Texas and provides services for children and adults with disabilities.

The charity helps provides care through all stages of life:

  • Early childhood intervention
  • Comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation
  • Employment services
  • Paid job training
  • Community and housing

Easter Seals will accept donations through Thanksgiving. Donate online .
