Cyclists hospitalized after accident

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin police are investigating an accident that landed two people in the hospital Sunday afternoon.

It happened in the 10200 block of West Parmer Ln. in North Austin.

Police say the driver of a vehicle swerved to avoid a box in the roadway when they struck two cyclists.

Both cyclists were transported to University medical Center in Round Rock, one with life-threatening injuries, the other with non- life-threatening injuries.
