AUSTIN (KXAN) - The Texas Mohinis will be among the competitive dance teams at the Texas Jhalak competition at Hogg Auditorium on the University of Texas campus on Saturday.

Over the last 12 years, Jhalak has grown from a small Bollywood dance competition to a national event with various competing teams. The University of Texas will be represented by the Texas Mohinis. Members of the team performed on KXAN News on Saturday morning.

The event is co-sponsored by the UT Indian Cultural Association and DesiDanceTeams.com. Jhalak kicks off at 6:30 p.m. in the Hogg Auditorium.
