AUSITN (KXAN) - Registration for the spring semester at Austin Community College is officially open and there are some new trends at the university to help you continue your education.

ACC now offers short-session classes for the spring semester. The 12-week and eight-week courses can be completed online or on one of their several area campuses.

“ACC’s short-session classes are a great option for people who can’t take classes when the semester begins in January,” says Mike Midgley, vice president of instruction. “A variety of term lengths and start times makes college accessible for more people.”

The 12-week session begins on Feb. 11 and the eight-week course begins Mar. 18.

The registration deadline for the 12-week course ends Feb. 6 and the registration deadline for the eight-week course ends Mar. 6.

Visit austincc.edu/apply to get started and view a map that guides new students through the admissions process or call the Student Recruitment Office at 223-7701.
