AUSTIN (KXAN) - Some wacky fun is about to kick off in the capital city. This weekend -- the organizers of Fun Fun Fun Fest will stage its second annual Aqua Olympics.

Fun Fun Fun Fest is held in November, so this event basks in the heat of the summer.

The games include all sorts of unique activities -- like a tug-of-war pull across the lake with Austin Mayor Lee Leffingwell and Councilman Mike Martinez, music and dancing.

They also have Austin's first-ever "Taco Cannon." It's like the kind seen at a pro-sports game.

This cannon is extra special, according to organizers.

"It is a giant 750-pound Gatling gun -like contraption," said Matt Mandrella with Transmission Events. "We will be shooting tacos into our fans. One fan is going to catch a taco that has a magic golden ticket in it. That golden ticket will get you a three-day pass to Fun Fun Fun Fest."

The Aqua Olympics happens Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at Fiesta Gardens, 2101 Jesse E. Segovia St. on Lady Bird Lake.
